Our Story

We are passionate about the proper care and handling of Eclectus parrots with a focus on natural and balanced nutrition.
We’re Gina and Oscar, a couple with a lifelong love for animals and a special place in our hearts for those magnificent misfits, the Eclectus parrots. From Gina’s childhood adventures rescuing chickens to Oscar’s fascination with all things feathered, animals have always been at the center of our lives.

Who We Are
Gina’s Journey
Hailing from the USA and now calling the Netherlands home, I’ve shared my life with critters as diverse as piranhas to horses! My passion for animal welfare led me to volunteer in dog and bird rescue, and even start my own cockatiel rescue back in the States. Alongside my animal adventures, I’m a seasoned marketing pro with over 20 years of experience building brands.
Oscar’s Journey
Born and raised in the Netherlands, I grew up surrounded by furry canine companions. My love for animals extends to the scaled and winged variety – no creature is too strange to spark my curiosity! While I never had a pet bird as a kid, meeting Gina ignited my passion for parrots. My background in IT complements Gina’s marketing expertise, making us a dynamic duo!
When we adopted our first Eclectus pair, Roma and Rima, a fire was lit. These incredible birds taught us so much and solidified our devotion to this unique species. Since then, we have adopted Luna, Lennox, and Lola.
